As a developmental editor, my job is to help novelists shape, fine-tune, and polish their work while maintaining the integrity of the writer's voice. From fleshing out ideas to evaluating final drafts, developmental editing can take place at any point in the writing process.

 

I will offer suggestions about: 

• core intentions and goals of the book

• organization

• plotting and pacing

• characterization

• voice and tone

 

Please contact me directly for rates and information on my editing services. Once services are contracted, an estimated 50 percent of payment is due at the start of the editing work. The balance will be due upon completion of the project.
